Simcha BBYO #5003

About Us

BBYO is a worldwide teen movement, bringing together high school students from all over the globe, with all types of interests and from all types of Jewish backgrounds. Each member is part of a chapter; it’s where teens have meetings, plan programs, and hang with friends.

Simcha BBYO #5003 (previously known as Maple BBYO) is a gender inclusive chapter where Jewish LGBTQ+ teens and friends connect with each other at weekly programs, weekend retreats, leadership training, social events and so much more.

Throughout the school year, Simcha meets weekly on Wednesdays at the Schwartz/Reisman Centre (9600 Bathurst Street, Vaughan) from 6:30-8:00pm. Programs are planned by our members and can be anything of interest to us – arts & crafts, holiday celebrations, identity enrichment, and more! We also join together often with all chapters from across Toronto, Vaughan, and Hamilton for larger events and conventions.
